ABSTRAKT / ABSTRACT :

As Rubin observatory is nearing completion and enters 10 years data
collection period, I will talk about what does it takes to build the
observatory. I will describe mostly software engineering concepts, but I
will also touch upon observatory design, goals, and scientific
prospects.
