PREDNASAJUCI / LECTURER : Silvia Ďurišová (1) Astronomical Institute, Slovak Academy of Sciences, 059 60 Tatranská Lomnica NAZOV / TITLE : Investigating hyperbolic dust orbits identified in data collected by Cassini's Cosmic Dust Analyzer ABSTRAKT / ABSTRACT : Between 2004 and 2017, the Cassini spacecraft orbited the Saturnian system, during which the Cosmic Dust Analyzer (CDA) instrument collected measurements of dust particles around Saturn. Among the analyzed data, 163 particles were identified as having a potentially external origin (Kempf et al, 2023 and Altobelli et al., 2025). A subset of these particles moves along hyperbolic heliocentric orbits, indicating a possible interstellar origin. In this presentation, we will examine these candidate interstellar particles in more detail.
