The data analysis is based on our multicolour UBVRI photometric observations obtained at AI SAS, MAO NASU, and the M. R. Štefánik Observatory in Hlohovec, supplemented by data from the AAVSO and ASAS-SN databases. From the resulting light curves, we determined the brightness decline times of the nova by 2 and 3 magnitudes, yielding values of t2(V) = 5 d, t3(V) = 10 d, and t3(B) = 13 days which corresponds to fast novae. We also examined short-term brightness fluctuations observed on the 35th day after the eruption and identified a periodicity of 0.224 days, which we interpret as the orbital period of nova V615 Vul. In addition, we calculated color indices, constructed tracks of the nova on two-color diagrams and provided their interpretation, determined the absolute magnitude, as well as estimated the mass of the white dwarf and the distance to the nova.
